There is a truism that landscape is the easiest thing to sell, and I'm afraid that in my art show travels that's always been true.

For years the human figure has been my favorite subject for painting. Nevertheless, I'm surprised at how few images I was able to cobble together for this website. I guess I've concentrated on keeping a pictorial record of my landscapes since that's what I make prints of and that's what gets me into art fairs. 

I have never been interested in the human figure as an exercise in either drafting or luscious painting. This is where the political me shows her nasty little face. While you might be able to appreciate the narrative in some of these works, you're not necessarily likely to hang them on your wall.
